Our Story

Bigfoot Running Company started in 2021 in Houston by husband and wife team, Ryan and Sumerlyn Matt.  Ryan and Sumerlyn have friends who produced races and often went to volunteer and really enjoy the running community. When their friends heard Ryan and Sumerlyn had decided to sell their businesses and relocate to Houston Texas they suggested we might enjoy putting on races as well. That small seed planted has turned into what is now Bigfoot Running Company.

Bigfoot Running Company has grown to several races throughout the year in communities across the country. We are committed to getting the community active and healthy by providing high-quality events with affordable pricing.
